Turning a Hobby into a Business

I’ve been Crocheting and Knitting a lot over the past couple of years. Ever since Covid started I relearned my hobby in an effort to give my mind something else to focus on. Now I’ve found that a lot of people are interested in the work that I’ve created so I decided to form this shop to sell my excess items and also have a place for people to reach out and get something customized.

The source of my material is almost always from a store though I have bought from many vendors that hand dye and spin their own yarn. I will do my best to include all material details with each item and any customized fits will also come with information on what was used.

100% Acrylic Yarn

Nearly all of the yarn I work with is acrylic. This makes it easy to wash in the machine and have no color bleed! This is the perferred yarn use and it ranges from Super Soft for babies, to Wool/Acrylic blends and even rougher fibers. All depends on the patterns requirements.

100% Free Patterns

All the patterns that I’ve used for my products have been sourced online and free. I will not be distributing the patterns as per the pattern owner’s requests but I do give credit where credit is due. You can see the additional information section on a piece for source of pattern.

100% Handmade

Every piece is done and handmade by me. I have a full time job and when I’m not busy working, I’m crafting these lovely pieces. Any Commissions recieved are worked on in order of when they were recieved and I take care to work on them as quickly as is physically possible for just one person. I aspire to create unique items for people and love a challenge.

100% Commissioned Based

This store and the fulfillments from it are all based on need. If I find an item is popular enough I can create more and then will just mark a stock of how much is left for it but most of these items are my extras from patterns I wanted to try and weren’t necessarily specifically meant for someone. I can be contacted however for any sort of customizations.
